This dual-purpose box lets kids listen to their favorite Disney princess movie themes on CD again and again and offers a place to stow the royal jewels. The chest is made of plastic in very princessy pink and purple and is adorned on top with an image of Jasmine, Belle, and Cinderella. With a twist of the knob on front, the lid pops up to access the CD player that plays music CDs, CD-Rs, and CD-RWs through two stereo speakers on front of the chest. Operation is fairly self-explanatory, even for the smaller set, as buttons are all standard. The only additional feature is a repeat button that allows kids to play back a single song multiple times (enough to drive parents crazy) or cycles through the entire CD, playing back the first 10 seconds of every song.
